The Restaurant

The restaurant at Woodlands has built up an enthusiastic local following and imaginative, creative dishes are served in the charming Victorian dining room. Peter and Glenda are assisted by a dedicated team to give you the finest dining experience. The menu changes according to the season.

For that special occasion: from a romantic dinner for two to a family celebration our chef will delight and surprise you with his culinary skill, diversity and mastery.

Our chef picks only the best and the freshest locally produced ingredients to offer cuisine of truly the highest calibre.

With a licensed bar, attentive restaurant staff and beautiful surroundings our spacious Somerset restaurant offers one of the fastest growing reputations for quality and imaginative 'fine cuisine' in and around the Somerset county.

Our fine dining Somerset restaurant is open to non-residents for dinner Monday through Sunday as well as Sunday lunches but booking is essential to avoid disappointment.

Weddings

Woodlands is licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies and we can offer you a choice of rooms for your ceremony depending on the numbers attending.

Your wedding day is probably the most important day in your life and takes a great deal of organising. Glenda & Peter and our dedicated team will attend to all the details surrounding your special day at Woodlands, and personally ensure your day runs smoothly, offering help and advice when needed. We can put you in touch with a variety of wedding services.

The gardens offer a splendid backdrop for your special photographs, as well as providing the children with an ideal, yet safe area to play.

Aswell as having overnight accommodation available for your guests we have a Bridal Suite, which is a beautiful spacious double aspect room, our Four Poster room (very traditional!) or the Super King with a luxury bathroom and whirlpool bath!

Accommodation

We have eight individually decorated bedrooms, all with en suite facilities, colour television and hospitality trays, plus our Family Suite of two bedrooms with a private family bathroom.

Our fully professional and dedicated business meeting facilities allow you to get on and do business whilst our attentive staff take care of the rest.

Only minutes from junction 22 off the M5 motorway and equidistant from Bristol and Taunton, we are easy to find for you and your employees, suppliers and clients.

We can also arrange your business breakfast meetings for you early risers who like to network.

Woodlands offers you a choice of two rooms each with a totally different feel about them. Either our traditional high ceiling chandeliered Somerset Room or the light airy Garden Room with amazing views of the countryside. The perfect location for informal discussions, training sessions and the formal board meeting.
