Located in the heart of a 250 acre nature reserve in Somerset’s Chew Valley, close to Bristol and Bath, the Folly Farm Centre has everything you’ve been looking for in a green and away-from-it-all conference venue. It’s perfect for your next conference, meeting, seminar or training event.

Housed in beautifully restored 18th century farm buildings, with uninterrupted views over wildflower meadows and ancient woodland, it offers the perfect combination of peace, tranquillity, eco-friendliness and cutting-edge conference facilities.

Up to 210 conference delegates can be comfortably accommodated across the centre’s 4 purpose-built conference suites. 8 hour delegate rates start at only £25 plus VAT, including refreshments, a buffet lunch and wireless internet access.

The purpose-built conference suites offer state-of-the-art audio-visual and IT equipment and excellent connectivity. Professional office support, expert pre-conference planning assistance and first-class catering are among the many support services on offer, helping ensure that every events runs smoothly.

A room with a view
The charming period farmhouse offers 9 comfortable en suite bedrooms, and 10 self-catering studios are available in the centre’s beautifully converted cow sheds. Many of the rooms enjoy glorious views over towards Chew Valley Lake.

Catering
With a wealth of wonderful produce on the doorstep, our preferred caterers use fresh local, organic and seasonal ingredients wherever possible, providing guests with a true taste of Somerset - from Exmoor Horn lamb and freshly harvested local vegetables to home-baked farmhouse breads and locally churned cheeses.

Protecting the future
Folly Farm and the surrounding nature reserve are owned by the Avon Wildlife Trust and all profits are ploughed back into its valuable work.

And, as you’d expect from a green venue, there are loads of eco-features, including solar hot water, biomass heating, rainwater harvesting and willow-bed waste water treatment.

Natural and recycled materials add to the unique character of the centre and many of the rooms have been designed to make optimal use of natural light and ventilation, helping protect the environment and maximise comfort levels for delegates.
