Enjoy a fantastic break at Folly Farm. This welcoming and incredibly inspiring new countryside and environmental centre lies in a beautiful location in North Somerset’s beautiful Chew Valley - on the edge of the Mendip Hills, close to both Bristol and BathIts fantastic complex of restored historic farm buildings lie at the heart of an enchanting 250-acre nature reserve, rich in wildflower meadows, ancient woodland and wildlife. The views over towards Chew Valley Lake are truly breathtaking.
Activity breaks
All kinds of inspirational courses are run at Folly Farm throughout the year including wild food foraging classes, owl prowls and badger watching expeditions.
Inspiring art and craft courses are run by expert tutors, including watercolour painting, wood carving and glass jewellery making.
Or perhaps you'd like to find out how to install solar hot water or learn about cob building or permaculture gardening? We run a whole host of environmental courses too.
Accommodation
Comfortable accommodation is available in the farmhouse and studios. The historic farmhouse retains many of its period features and offers comfortable en suite accommodation in 9 bedrooms, including 3 lovely family rooms. The restored 18th century cow sheds have been converted into 10 delightful self-catering studios.
Accommodation prices start from:
-£25 per person, self-catering
-£35 per person, bed and breakfast
-£65 per person, full board (including refreshments and three cooked meals).
Single supplement is £10
Minimum of 8 people on a B&B or full board basis
No minimum number for self-catering

Biomass central heating, solar hot water, rainwater harvesting and willow beds for treating waste water are just a few of the Folly Farm Centre’s green features.
