Wayne & Lynn, owners since March 07, welcome you to this lovely landmark Inn which offers a full food menu 6 days a week at lunchtimes & evenings + Sunday roast on Sundays between 12noon-6pm.(PLEASE NOTE - the PUB may close at 6PM on SUNDAYS depending on the amount of guests on site).
It has a large beer garden/childrens play area, & a large skittle alley/function room with its own bar facility - ideal for Weddings,Parties & meetings.
Take away food available from the Pub.
The Campsite
The site is approx 2 acres, bordered by hedgerows, all 22 hard grass pitches are level & have 16amp electric hook up.
On site is a small very basic toilet block with free showers, w.c's, wash basins with hot & cold water & Chemical disposal point.
Dogs are allowed on site, but not in the pub.
The site arrival time is after 12 noon, departure time depends on pitch availability (please phone if unsure of timings or if you get no reply to your e-mail after 24hrs please phone as we may have computer problems which we aren't aware of).

Close by are the local towns of Bath, Bristol, Castle Cary, Frome, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Wells, Wincanton, & Yeovil.
Bath & West Showground is 5 miles away & Castle Cary railway station is a 5 minute walk.
Local dairy farms & cheese making plants are scattered throughout the locality with shops open to the public.
Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford is 5 miles away.
Wincanton Race Course is 7 miles away
Glastonbury 7 miles.
RNAS Yeovilton 10 miles.

For Tent, Caravan & Motorhome owners it's an ideal stop over for those visiting the Bath & West Showground & other local attractions. From the East we're 65 miles from M3 Junc 8, from the West 50 miles from Exeter...& only 4 miles from Bath & West Showground.
Directions
From A303 take Wincanton turn off for A371 Castle Cary/A357 Blandford.
Continue approx 7 miles on A371 towards Shepton Mallet.
Through Ansford & traffic lights, down another hill passing Castle Cary railway station on your right, The Brook House is 1/2 mile from the station on the left-DO NOT TURN OFF THE A371-the only time you turn off is to pull onto the pub forecourt!
From Bristol take A37 to Shepton Mallett, onto A371 towards Wincanton.
Pass Bath & West Showground on your right & after 5 miles you will find us on your right before the railway station.
