Description
The Coach House Bed and Breakfast is set in farmland and woodlands with the River Brue flowing through the fields and woods; it is an elegantly furnished and comfortable house in the heart of Somerset.Guests are welcome to wander along the attractive paths close by the river.
In fine weather breakfast can be taken in the courtyard garden. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens
The Coach House has recently been inspected and awarded 4 Diamonds and a Silver Accolade by 'Quality in Tourism assessment services'.
Accommodation
There is a double, twin or family room available to choose from. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Two rooms have television, and a cot or extra bed can be made available on request.
Guests are invited to make use of the Guest Lounge and Gardens where you can enjoy walks along the river.
Full English Breakfast is inclusive.
Vegetarians are catered for, as are other diets with prior notice. We aim to source our breakfast ingredients locally as far as is practicable.

Local Area
Alford is situated 2 miles west of the pretty village of Castle Cary. Many attractions are close by incuding the historical Cities of Wells and Bath, and Glastonbury. The Haynes Motor Museum and Fleet Air Arm Museum are only a short drive away as are the National Trust Properties of Stourhead and Montacute. Other attractions include Longleat Safari Park, Cheddar Caves and Gorge, Wookey Hole, and Clarks Village Shopping Centre at Street.
