The Garden Suite is a very pretty self contained suite attached to Glebelands, an historic house, built, as the Blue Plaque says for the “Beloved Physician of Chard.” Set in 1/3 acre of delightful mature gardens overlooking the 14th century parish church, Glebelands is just a 5 minute walk from a choice of restaurants, the High St. shops or out into glorious walking countryside. Chard is on the edge of the Blackdown Hills an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Accommodation

The suite comprises of a sunny sitting room with kitchen / dining area. A stylish double bedroom with pure white bedlinen and a shower room. French doors give private access onto the south facing gardens. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, toaster kettle and fridge – perfect for making snacks and light meals, and there are ample supplies of tea coffee and fresh milk.

Tuck into a complimentary breakfast hamper, full of good things including cereals, fresh fruit, tasty bread, local honey and home made preserves, with orange juice and ground coffee…..every day of your stay, at a time to suit you.

In summertime enjoy the flower borders packed with the scents of English roses or relax in the gardens with a cup of herbal tea. The garden is brought indoors with fresh cut garden flowers in your own sitting room.

Little extras in the shower room include shampoos and conditioners and there is a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board.
