Our compact studio apartments offer an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of the Cheddar area. And if you are walking, cycling, fishing, caving,abseiling,sailing, windsurfing, or participating in any of the other outdoor activities available close by, you will find Venns Views an ideal place to stay.

Situated on the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills, the property has stunning far-reaching views across Somerset including Glastonbury Tor, the Cheddar (Axbridge) Reservoir and on a clear day out to the Bristol Channel.

The Apartments:
Our four compact studio apartments, Tor View, Lake View, Meadow View and Cherry View, all have their own shower/wc, kitchen area with fan oven, hob, refrigerator and a comprehensive range of cutlery, crockery, glass and cookware. Dining table and chairs, and comfortable beds with duvets and all bed linen are provided, along with TV/DVD and Radio/CD players. Also included in the price are electricity, hot water and central heating, and there is off-road parking.

Dogs Welcome:
Dogs are welcome in the two ground foor apartments: Cherry and Meadow View for a small suppliment. There is a secure area for dogs to execise. Cherry and Lake View can be let together as they have an interconnecting door.

Smokers are welcome in Meadow View.

All the apartments have twin beds except Tor View which has a double.

Local Area:
Within easy reach of Cheddar are the beautiful catheral city of Wells and the historic town of Glastonbury. Bath with its famous Georgian buildings and Roman Baths is 25 miles away, whilst Bristol with its large shopping centres, museums, theatres and historic docks is 18 miles from Cheddar. For those who enjoy a day on the beach, the seaside resort of Weston-Super-Mare is 10 miles distant.
