Description

Bees Knees and Honeycott have recently been converted from a barn into 2 luxury self-catering cottages, accommodating up to 4 people each. Situated in the heart of Exmoor National Park they both have breathtaking views towards the sea and over unspoilt hills and valleys.

Accommodation
Each cottage has a kitchen, dining area, lounge and toilet. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and shower.

A high-chair and cot can be available and we are happy to arrange baby sitting or stable your horse during the summer. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

The owner lives in the farmhouse nextdoor and is on hand help and answer questions. Guests will be welcome to share and explore the 222 acres of land which is home to 400 Lleyn sheep with their lambs and a suckler herd of 50 simintal cows with calves at foot,and meet the two farm working dogs Badger and Max.

Local Area
Allercott Farm is an ideal base to explore the Exmoor National Park. Exmoor is a special place of wild heather moorland, deep wooded valleys,streams, lanes full of wild flowers and an abundance of wild life,Red Deer, Exmoor Ponies and Buzzards. It is a wonderful place to explore by car or on foot anytime of year.

Activities such as Horse riding or pony treking, falconry, archery and fishing are available within 10 miles from the cottages.

The seaside resort of Minehead with its sandy beach, golf course, swimming pool and West Somerset Steam Railway is 7 miles away.

Other places of interest nearby are Winsford, Wimberball Lake, Dulverton, Tarr Steps, Exford, Porlock, Lorna Doone Valley and Lynton and Lynmouth with its unique water powered cliff railway.
