Description
A warm welcome awaits you at Newland House, offering country bed and breakfast on Exmoor. This traditional Exmoor home is cosy and comfortable with bow windows and wisteria covering the front. The view out over the garden wall looks across open farmland and beyond.Accommodation
We offer 1 double and 1 twin bedroom both with their own en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and lovely antique furniture.
Guests' have their own sitting room with its inglenook fireplace and oak beams. Enjoy a hearty Exmoor breakfast sat at the 17th century oak refectory table.
Horse Riding
You are welcome to bring your horse to stay at Newlands.
Enjoy riding out on the moor or book a day's hunting.
We have DIY stabling for 3 horses at £7 per night per horse.
Hay, straw and hard feed extra, available on request.
We can also arrange shooting and fishing for you during your stay on Exmoor.
Local Area
The nearby village of Exford has all the essential services with Post Office, village stores, newsagents, 2 busy country pubs and a restaurant
Exmoor is great walking and riding country with wonderful moorland scenery, rugged coastline, sandy beaches, quaint country villages, market towns and plenty of wildlife to see
Exmoor National Park stretches over about 267 sq. miles of unique landscape with plenty of places for you to explore during your stay. With open moorland, wooded coombes, wonderful coastline and an abundance of wildlife. Visit Porlock, Minehead, Doone Valley, West Somerset Railway, find the Exmoor ponies and wild red deer. The sandy surfing beaches of North Devon are well worth a visit.
