Riscombe Farm offers 4 Star self catering holiday cottages, set in the heart of Exmoor National Park, near the border of Somerset and Devon. The farm is over 300 years old, and is in a peaceful, relaxing location beside the River Exe, near the beautiful village of Exford. Stroll along our riverside fields and through the woodland, and relax in one of our beautiful cottages after a day out enjoying Exmoor.

The cottages provide very comfortable self catering holiday accommodation with character to return to after your exploration of the spectacular coast, open moorland, wooded valleys, old villages, castles and lots more!

Whilst no longer a working farm, we do have ponies, lambs, chickens, ducks, goats, etc. We also have stabling, so you can bring your horse with you for DIY livery. Dogs and pets welcome.

Accommodation
The comfortable stone self catering cottages were converted from barns, and this accommodation retains the old character of these buildings. They sleep 2, 4, 5 and 6 people, in one, two and three bedroom cottages. These and the stables are set around a large courtyard, which provides ample parking.

All the cottages are fully self-contained and well-equipped, with radio/CD/tape player, satellite TV and DVD player. There are log fires in the three larger cottages. There are baths and showers. Bed linen is provided. We welcome well-behaved pets, and we are open all year. There is new Games Room, Laundry plus Drying Room and a secure Cycle storage room.

All cottages are well-equipped with full-size beds, comfortable suites, heated towel rails and personal touches including hand-made quilts, original pictures and ornaments, plus books, games and puzzles. They all have an electric cooker, fridge, microwave oven, colour TV (with free satellite channels), DVD player and a radio/CD/tape player. All bed linen, duvets and tea towels are provided, and beds are made up for your arrival. Please bring your own towels, although these can be hired. We provide all cleaning materials, soap and lavatory paper. A laundry & drying room as well as a games room are provided. We can supply a cot, high chair and stair gate at no extra charge, and baby sitting by arrangement. There is a payphone in the games block. Electricity is by £1 coin meter. All gardens have garden furniture.
