If you are looking for a site for a relaxing
break with some scenic Carp fishing, then look no further. Folly Foot lake is a well established, mature fishery. Non-fishing partners are welcome. The lake covers approximately 3 acres in a beautiful & tranquil setting at the foot of the Quantock Hills. Folly Foot really is one of the top Carp Fishing locations in the UK.

The lake is well stocked with a variety of Koi, Mirror, Common and Ghost Carp. The majority of which weigh in the doubles, plenty in the twenties and a few very large fish which have evaded being landed for some years. One of which was caught seven years ago and weighed 28lbs at that time. Some anglers believe this fish probably weighs 40lbs plus.The Lake is protected with security fencing and locked at night to protect our night fishermen.

You can now pre book your carp fishing holiday on a top quality big Carp lake, where you could hope to achieve your personal best without wasting time and money travelling abroad. Parties or individuals are welcome, but why not get together with some friends for some terrific fishing.We are only minutes from the M5 and so in easy reach from most locations - approximately 2.5 hours from London or 2 hours from Birmingham.

For a relaxing chat with your fellow anglers we provide a cabin with television, sofas, tables and a shop selling refreshments, bait and tackle.

Local facilities

Only 1/2 a mile away is the village of North Petherton where there are 4 take-aways and three pubs. There are also shops including a butcher, baker and chemist.
