Description

The creeper-clad Greyhound Inn stands in the tucked-away village of Staple Fitzpaine and has been extended over the years into a series of rambling, connecting rooms providing a rustic mix of flagstone floors, old timbers and natural stone walls.

A true haven for leisure seekers but within easy reach of Taunton (5miles) and a 10 minute drive from the M5 (J25)to appeal to the business visitor.

Restaurant

Ample seating throughout, candle topped tables and open winter fires provide an instant welcome to diners. Seasonal dishes are freshly prepared and cooked to order, complemented with a good choice of wine, served by the glass or bottle.

Award-winning real ales are kept in fine condition and can be enjoyed in the locals' bar with its barrel stools and wood burning stove.

Accommodation

The 4 en-suite bedrooms are extremely comfortable. They are furnished to a high standard and include hospitality tray, direct dial telephone, colour TV. trouser press and hair dryer. The bathrooms are well stocked with toiletries.
All of the bedrooms are non-smoking.

The hearty full English breakfasts are worth getting up for and are included in your stay.
